There is a craze going on for "nama donuts" in Nagoya at a shop called Love Sweets Antique(ラブスウィーツ アンティーク). "Nama" basically means "raw" but in this case it is more like "uncooked". Apparently they take sponge cake, mousse, jelly and fruit or other flavors, combine them in a donut shape and freeze them. When you eat one it melts in your mouth and apparently has a very interesting texture. Prices range from 168 Yen~ 189 Yen (less than $2).This is a new shop and people are willing to wait for up to 1 hour for them.

My honey keeps looking at them and is practically drooling. Too bad Nagoya is so far away!
